Driven by a mission to invest in building a better world, we are led by a team of skilled executives and a visionary, entrepreneurial founder.The Role:As Project Manager, you will lead the execution of an off-grid development project on a remote island near Vancouver. Youll manage everything from logistics and vendor coordination to budget tracking and onsite execution. This project includes multiple all-season yurts, an A-frame lodge, custom infrastructure (solar/generator, septic, heli-pad), and trail/utility installation. Youll report to the VP of Land Development and be supported by a field superintendent already based on site.This role is ideally suited for someone who resides on Vancouver Island and brings experience managing construction projects within the island region. The work schedule will be split between working remotely from home and spending time on-site, with minimal to no overnight stays required.Youll operate in a high-urgency, design-build environment, where timelines are compressed and expectations are elevated especially when working with ultra-high-net-worth individuals (UHNWI) and their advisors.Responsibilities:Manage all phases of the Off Grid Island project, including yurts, A-frame, heli-pad, and off-grid utilitiesCoordinate logistics of materials, equipment, contractors, and transport (e.g. barge, helicopter)Oversee execution of solar/generator installation, water systems, and septic solutionsTrack budgets, maintain construction timelines, and ensure vendor alignmentPrepare and update Gantt charts and digital schedules to ensure transparency and accountabilityReport to the VP of Land Development with updates, site photos, and field-level risksOperate with autonomy while collaborating closely with on-site leadership and vendorsExecute design-build project scope with precision, adapting plans in real-time as site conditions and client needs evolveDeliver results under accelerated timelines, with a relentless focus on quality, speed, and client-level expectationsQualifications:5+ years in off-grid, remote site, or rugged terrain construction project managementDemonstrated experience managing full-cycle builds with minimal infrastructure supportFamiliarity with off-grid systems: solar arrays, generators, water/septic, telecomProficiency with Gantt charts, MS Teams, scheduling software, and cloud-based reporting toolsAbility to plan, sequence, and manage projects with weather/environment constraintsStrong verbal/written communication skills, with clear reporting styleHands-on approach with confidence operating in isolated job sitesPMP certification and Bachelors degree or equivalent experienceProven ability to lead capital projects from design through build managing everything from initial plans to field executionExperience working directly with or adjacent to ultra-high-net-worth individuals and high-touch client environmentsAbility to travel to project sites on the island; overnights generally not requiredOff-grid builder who thrives in logistical complexity experienced with remote job sites, challenging terrain, and limited utility accessHighly organized operator maintains clear plans, timelines, and contractor accountabilityResourceful and self-sufficient solves problems independently, finds creative solutions, and makes things happen without hand-holdingClear communicator documents progress, flags risks early, and keeps leadership informedComfortable in the fi eld not afraid to walk the land, inspect construction firsthand, and get your boots dirtyDesign-build executor experienced in managing both the planning and construction sides of projects, ensuring that vision translates into physical execution under demanding conditionsThrives under pressure excels in projects where the deadlines feel unrealistic and the margin for error is zero; sees urgency as a driver, not a barrierProfessional with polish confident interfacing with UHNWI clients and their representatives while maintaining field credibility and discretionCompensation & Benefits:A base salary, $100K - $150K based on experience, with an additional lucrative bonus plan based on performance.
