With the continued growth of our business, we are seeking to hire a **Packaging Operator** to join our Production team on the afternoon shift. **The position requires a person that (but not limited to):** * Demonstrates attention to detail, ensuring quality product meets Work Order specifications. * Reports any non-conformances immediately to the Lead Hand or Supervisor. * Maintains a tidy/clean area for safe passage through assigned area during runs. * Ensures equipment is operating safely and properly. * Co-operates with co-workers and demonstrates a positive attitude. * Follows GMP and safety procedures. * Assist in other areas of Production when required. **NOTE:** *This position works with dusty powders; respirators and masks are provided for your safety.* **Requirements:** * Able to lift, up to 50 lbs. * Able to stand for long periods of time. * Able to follow safety procedures. * Able to work within a powder environment (PPE provided). * Fluent in English, verbal and written. * Experience working in a manufacturing environment considered an asset. **Shift:** Monday to Friday - 2:15pm to 10:30pm **Rate:** $18.45 per hour plus .50 per hour afternoon shift premium. **What its in it for you:** * Competitive wages * Paid benefits * Central location * Free parking * Employee discounts * Social events * PPE provided * Respectful, safe, and supportive work environment!
