Heres what they have said: The people I work with Opportunities to grow my career Pride in the brand Connections with guests and customers Meaningful and fun work Special and Unique benefits **Benefits:** * **Up to 6 Discounted Mayfield Dinner Theatre Tickets** * **50% Discount in Stages Restaurant & Bar** * **Extensive Hilton Discounted Room Rates** * **Health, Dental, Vision coverage along with Life Insurance, AD&D and Short Term Disability** **What will you be doing?:** To contribute to the cleanliness of the hotel by cleaning all required areas within the back of house of the hotel and kitchen. **Responsibilities:** **Perform General Cleaning:** * Sweeping, mopping, and scrubbing floors. * Cleaning and disinfecting surfaces, including countertops, tables, and appliances, back walls. * Emptying trash receptacles and ensuring proper disposal of waste. **Sanitization:** * Disinfect frequently touched surfaces, doorknobs, cooler doors. **Specialized Cleaning:** * Follow specific cleaning protocols for designated areas, such as kitchen walls, floors, ceilings, walk in coolers and freezers. * Clean steam pots, kitchen flat tops, and ranges as required. * Cleaning of kitchen hood system filters and **Floor Care:** * Manually sweeping and mopping hard floors * The ability to use ride on or mechanical floor cleaning machinery. * Removing any garbage and recycling from the kitchen areas * Proper care and maintenance of different types of flooring. **Window Cleaning:** * Clean windows and glass surfaces. **Adherence to Safety Standards:** * Follow all safety guidelines and procedures. * Use cleaning chemicals in accordance with provided instructions and safety protocols. **Communication:** * Report any maintenance issues, damages, or supply shortages to the supervisor. * Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors. * Have the ability to follow and complete task checklists on time. **Requirements:** * Previous experience in cleaning or janitorial services preferred. * WHMIS Certification an asset - knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies. * Ability to handle and operate cleaning equipment. * Physical stamina and ability to perform repetitive tasks. * Strong attention to detail. * Excellent time management skills. * Good communication and interpersonal skills. * Must have reliable transportation due to the shift work * Energetic & flexible * Good English communication skills **Working Conditions:** * The position may require standing, bending, and lifting to and including 40 pounds. * Use of protective equipment and adherence to WHIMIS Safety Guidelines. * Overnight shifts which could include weekends and holidays * Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 50 pounds without assistance * Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
