The Club Floor Lounge is the exclusive sanctuary of the hotels most loyal guests. The Club Floor Lounge Attendant has dual responsibilities to ensure these guests dining experience and service needs are met at this exclusive level. **Duties and Essential Job Functions** * Acts as a host to our guests by searching out opportunities to wow them, driving customer loyalty by building emotional, individualized connections with customers and anticipating needs * Is courteous, friendly, professional and helpful to guests * Interprets guest needs and provides exceptional service * Resolves any guest issues and follows up with guests on their overall satisfaction with the hotel * Provides assistance with computer usage including but not limited to preparing and printing travel documents for guests when required and resolving IT related issues with the IT provider * Uses strong knowledge of the local area to help guests enjoy their stay. * Is aware of daily events, and their location, taking place in the hotel * Is an expert on the local area and makes recommendations * Responsible for ensuring the guests dining experience is executed on both accurately and efficiently * Maintains accurate documentation regarding guest eligibility for Club Floor Lounge services * Responsible for the set-up, maintenance and tear down of lounge buffet * Ensures the room and presentation of the food and beverage items are aesthetically pleasing working with the kitchen teams to ensure high quality food and beverage is served in a timely and efficient manner * Executes drink recipes accurately, with consistency and timeliness * Places IRD orders on behalf of guests looking for food that is charged to the guest account * Maintains exemplary product and systems knowledge * Adherence to AGLC regulations and ProServe best practices * Adheres to all standard operating procedures and policies * Ensures that all processes are adhered to including all checklist duties * Ensures equipment is cleaned to warranty specifications on a daily basis (i.e. espresso machine) * Follows EcoSure compliance with regards to refrigeration temperature logs, utilizing sanitizer for cleaning purposes and labeling and dating all food product in storage or refrigeration * Knows and adheres to all health and safety, accident prevention and emergency procedures for all the areas of the lounge and hotel **Knowledge and Skills Required** * High School Diploma * Hospitality experience a definite asset * Strong customer service skills * Strong computer skills * Experience with Opera PMS an asset * ProServe certification and knowledge of AGLC rules * Basic bartending and wine knowledge * Minimum 2 years in a similar customer service environment * First aid and CPR qualifications are beneficial * Must be able to lift at least 30 lbs. * Must be able to stand/walk for extended periods of time **Behaviours Required** * Exceptional guest service talent * Friendly and enthusiastic * Strong communication and organizational skills * Perceptive; able to read customers needs * Demonstrates exceptional time management and multi-tasking abilities * Takes ownership of duties, shows initiative and is proactive * Ability to work independently * Has effective problem-solving skills Job Type: Part-time Benefits: * Company events * Discounted or free food * Flexible schedule * On-site gym * On-site parking Schedule: * Day shift * Evening shift * Holidays * Monday to Friday * Morning shift * Weekends as needed Work Location: In person
