This role is ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of logistics, learning design, and employee experienceand who wants to help shape the future of learning across a dynamic and evolving organization.As a Learning & Development Coordinator, youll play a key role in elevating the employee experience by coordinating seamless onboarding programs and supporting the launch of a robust internal learning platform. From the first day an employee joins to every development opportunity that follows, youll help design and deliver moments that matter. Youll collaborate with People & Culture, internal trainers, and business leaders to ensure every learning touchpoint is thoughtful, accessible, and impactful.In this role, youll coordinate and facilitate new hire onboarding, managing session logistics, liaising with presenters, tracking progress, and ensuring that all materials are up to date and user-friendly. Youll also serve as a key point of contact for new hires, supporting their early experience and answering onboarding-related questions. Beyond orientation, youll manage the logistics of training programs by booking rooms or setting up virtual sessions, sending invites, preparing materials, and maintaining the training calendar. Youll also help administer the learning management system by uploading content, tracking participation, and generating basic reports to measure training engagement and effectiveness.Youll assist in the creation and delivery of learning contentdeveloping slide decks, guides, e-learning modules, and instructional aids to support a wide range of internal development programs. Whether youre conducting research, gathering feedback, or co-facilitating foundational training sessions, your contribution will help ensure the learning experience is relevant, engaging, and results-driven. Youll also play a critical role in process documentation and knowledge transfer by working with subject matter experts to document core business procedures and turn them into clear, actionable resources that employees can rely on. This documentation will support consistent execution, reduce knowledge gaps, and become a foundational part of onboarding and upskilling efforts.To thrive in this role, youll bring a diploma or degree in Human Resources, Adult Education, Communications, or a related fieldor equivalent hands-on experience. You should have 23 years of experience in a learning and development or training coordination role, along with a solid understanding of adult learning principles and basic instructional design. Youre highly organized, collaborative, detail-oriented, and tech-comfortablewith proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, MS Teams, Zoom), and ideally some familiarity with learning management systems or e-learning tools. You must also be legally eligible to work in Canada for any employer.This role offers a base salary between $70,000 and $80,000, commensurate with your experience and qualifications.
