As an Infrastructure/Security Specialist, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our organization's infrastructure and security systems. You will work closely with our development teams to ensure the secure and efficient operation of our applications and services. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in infrastructure and security, with expertise in technologies such as Rancher (RKE2), Kubernetes, Ingress, Egress, Kong, Keycloak, Ceph, Artifactory, Networking, Security, SSO, Identity Provider, LDAP, and OAuth. Responsibilities:Design, implement, and maintain our organization's infrastructure and security systems, including Rancher (RKE2), Kubernetes, Ingress, Egress, Kong, Keycloak, Ceph, and Artifactory.Ensure the security and integrity of our applications and services, including identity and access management, authentication, and authorization.Implement and maintain single sign-on (SSO) and identity provider (IDP) solutions using Keycloak and LDAP.Configure and manage network security, including firewalls, VPNs, and access controls.Develop and implement security policies, procedures, and standards to ensure compliance with industry regulations and best practices.Monitor and analyze system logs to identify potential security threats and vulnerabilities.Collaborate with development teams to ensure secure coding practices and implement security testing and validation.Provide technical leadership and guidance to junior team members.Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in infrastructure and security, and make recommendations for improvements and innovations. Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.At least 8 years of experience in infrastructure and security, with a focus on cloud-native technologies such as Kubernetes, Rancher (RKE2), and Kong.Strong knowledge of security principles, including identity and access management, authentication, authorization, and encryption.Experience with SSO and IDP solutions, including Keycloak and LDAP.Proficiency in networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, DNS, and HTTP.Experience with Ceph and Artifactory is a plus.Strong understanding of security regulations and compliance, including HIPAA, PCI-DSS, and GDPR.Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex issuesMust be eligible for up to a Top Secret Security Clearance.
