Reporting to the Head of Creative Services in this role, you will be the brands voice across TikTok, Instagram, X, YouTube Shorts, Facebook, and LinkedIn- reacting to real-time sports moments, briefing creators, and shaping our tone in every post. Write engaging short-form scripts, captions, and creative briefs for posts while maintaining a consistent brand tone and voice.Keep a pulse on sports, betting, and casino culture to capitalize on timely content opportunities and real-time moments that resonate with our audienceDaily Operations & EngagementSchedule and publish daily content using Hootsuite and native platform tools, ensuring each channel remains active and optimized.Monitor comments, reposts, and fan conversations in real-time; actively engage with users and respond or escalate as appropriate to build rapport.Uphold a steady posting cadence and monitor platform health (e.g. follower growth, engagement rates), identifying any issues and keeping each community space vibrant.Track post-performance analytics and highlight high-engagement content for potential paid promotion or broader campaign use.Content Creation & CollaborationWork closely with our in-house designer/video editor to develop compelling multimedia content for social channels.Brief and direct external content creators, influencers, and user-generated content (UGC) partners to ensure their contributions align with our brand and campaigns.Source UGC, write short skits or lo-fi video ideas, plan social media giveaways, and contribute creative concepts to larger marketing campaigns.Comfortably step in front of the camera for spontaneous, trend-based, or lo-fi content when needed to give our brand a human face.Community BuildingActively interact with our sports betting and casino community across platforms, nurturing an atmosphere of excitement and inclusivity.Cultivate relationships with key fans, creators, and partners (including sports organizations like MLSE) through collaborations, shout-outs, and coordinated events.Lead the execution of fan-focused initiatives such as contests, giveaways, and collaborations that reward and grow our community.Champion a fun, inclusive, and responsible betting culture in all communications, aligning with PointsBets commitment to responsible gambling and community values.WHAT YOU BRING 2-4 years experience in social media, content, or community management roles, with a track record of growing an online audience or brand.Deep knowledge of major sports leagues, sports betting culture, and current internet/pop culture trends.Excellent writing skills with the ability to craft witty, on-brand copy; adept at spotting trends and turning them into engaging content ideas or briefs.Highly organized and self-sufficient in managing content calendars and social channel upkeep.
