**Job Summary** We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our dynamic kitchen team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation and a strong understanding of kitchen operations. This role is essential in ensuring that our meals are prepared to the highest standards, contributing to an exceptional dining experience for our guests. **Responsibilities** * Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards. * Assist in meal preparation, including chopping, slicing, and dicing ingredients. * Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and food preparation areas. * Follow food safety guidelines and ensure proper food handling practices are adhered to at all times. * Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours. * Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and assist with ordering as needed. * Help train new kitchen staff in food preparation techniques and safety protocols. **Experience** * Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred but not required. * Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in the food industry is a plus. * Strong skills in meal preparation and cooking techniques are essential. * Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment while maintaining quality standards. * Excellent teamwork skills with a willingness to help others in the kitchen as needed.
