Through strategic partnerships with insurance carriers and our technology platform, we eliminate the risk and administrative hurdles associated with insurance, enabling entrepreneurial providers to launch and grow successful in-network practices, ultimately increasing access to affordable healthcare across the US.About the role:As a Product Manager at Zaya and an early team member, youll play a pivotal role in building foundational products and processes from the ground up. Youll work closely with leadership and cross-functional teams (RCM, operations, sales, customer support) to translate company goals and customer needs into a strategic product roadmap. Everything you do will have an impact on the company.Responsibilities:Build the product roadmapCombine customer insights and data to fuel decisionsPrioritize initiatives each quarter, aligning with Zayas company goalsCollaborate closely with the engineering team to assess technical feasibility, evaluate trade-offs, and manage dependenciesExecute the product roadmapProject plan and coordinate delivery timelines with the engineering team. Lead all meetings including sprint planning, retro and daily stand upsBreakdown the roadmap into manageable, shippable increments to consistently deliver value to customers and advance roadmap goalsYoull actively work with designs (Figma), data (Mixpanel / Looker), and research to help the team stay on track and keep momentum.Continuously monitor and evaluate product performance post-release, gathering insights to iterate on features and optimize the user experience.Youll partner closely with Operations to validate concepts before building. Operations will be your R&D lab.Communicate the 'Why' - internally and externallyBecome Zayas internal product expertCoordinate feature rollouts and all associated documentationCommunicate product updates internally and externallyAbout you:You have a track record of success: 34 years in product management and at least 1 year of experience in revenue cycle management / insurance operations.B2B experience: You have a strong background in prioritizing feedback from customers across various scales, ensuring their voices are valued while maintaining a focus on a scalable and reusable product.0 to 1: You have experience building processes and products from scratch and find working at startups rewarding.Bias toward action: You confidently make decisions on what to prioritize, leveraging qualitative and quantitative inputs to pursue company goals, knowing there will always be trade-offs.Strong communication skills: You have the ability to convey complex ideas clearly, both internally to your team and externally to customers.Detail-oriented: You love the details and think critically about all the use cases, edge cases, and interdependencies of your work.Maintain a customer-first perspective: You seek to understand customer pain points and have experience organizing and conducting customer interviews.Youre not afraid to roll up your sleeves: You have a bias toward execution and proactively work to unblock yourself.
