With multiple branches across Canada and secure business plans for future growth and expansion, Robertson is seeking candidates to join our dynamic company and contribute to our continued success.Scope of the positionWe are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Supply Chain Specialist to join our team at Vaughan HQ. This role will support various branches across Ontario, playing a crucial part in optimizing our supply chain operations to ensure efficiency and timely delivery of electrical products.Key Responsibilities:Analyze supply chain data to identify trends, forecast demand, and develop inventory management strategies for electrical components across multiple branches.Monitor inventory levels, assess stock movements, and implement inventory optimization techniques to minimize excess and shortage risks across branches.Calculate and determine EOQ values to ensure efficient ordering practices. Assess whether the EOQ calculations are correct and align with inventory management goals.Identify and implement process improvements to enhance supply chain efficiency, reduce lead times, and lower costs for the entire organization.Work closely with cross-functional teams, including procurement, production, and logistics, to ensure alignment and address supply chain challenges in various locations.Prepare and present regular reports on supply chain performance metrics, inventory status, and supplier performance to managers and Senior Leadership team.Assist in the planning and execution of supply chain projects aimed at enhancing operational effectiveness in multiple branches.Analyze potential risks within the supply chain and develop strategies to mitigate those risks, ensuring business continuity.Travel to branches as needed to conduct inventory checks, support operations, and collaborate with teams.Skills & Qualifications:Bachelors degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.2+ years of experience in supply chain analysis or a similar roleStrong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools and software (e.g., MS 365, ERP systems).Knowledge of supply chain methodologies and best practices.Strong organizational skills to handle multiple responsibilities and meet tight deadlines.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with internal teams across various locations.Problem-solving mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.Familiarity with electrical components, manufacturing processes, and industry standards is a plus.A few reasons why its great to work for usRobertson Electric Wholesale is an established and fast-growing companyCompetitive salary and bonusComprehensive medical and dental benefitsRRSP matching planOpportunities for growth and developmentPlease be informed that the position is conditional upon successful completion of a Mandatory Criminal background check.
