Reporting to the Shift Lead, this role supports the production process through the preparation and operation of the beveling equipment. . The ideal candidate will work well in a fast-paced, safety-conscious environment and be committed to quality and teamwork. **Key Qualifications** * Strong work ethic and reliability * Excellent communication skills * Ability to follow instructions effectively * Strong focus on workplace safety * Punctual, dependable, and team-oriented * Fluent in spoken and written English * Previous experience operating overhead cranes is an asset * Mechanical aptitude or manufacturing experience is an asset **Key Responsibilities** * Follow all Bri-Steel policies and procedures that relate to Bevel machine operation * Material handling * Pipe length and sizing set-up * Perform all Beveller checks effectively * Calculate correct cutting speed * Effectively set all bevel related equipment parameters prior to machining a bevel to specification, i.e. cutting head run-out, bevel head angle, compound bevel cutting, hydraulic system, electrical system, conveying system, etc. * Complete all appropriate documentation related to beveling * Communicate stock needs related to beveling activities to shift lead as required * Maintain a clean and safe work environment * Other related duties as outlined by Shift Lead **Compensation & Benefits** * Starting wage: **$23.00/hour** * Overtime opportunities available * Comprehensive benefits package, including: * Dental and vision care * Extended health care * Life insurance * RRSP matching * Employee assistance program * On-site parking * Night Shift Premium **Additional Information** * This is a full-time, permanent position * Must be able to work rotating **day and night shifts** * Candidates must be able to **reliably commute** * Experience as a machine operator (1 year preferred) Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: $22.00 per hour Additional pay: * Overtime pay Benefits: * Dental care * Employee assistance program * Extended health care * Life insurance * On-site parking * RRSP match * Vision care Schedule: * 10 hour shift * Day shift * Night shift * No weekends * Overtime Ability to commute/relocate: * Edmonton, AB T6P1Z4: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required) Experience: * Machine Operator: 1 year (required) Work Location: In person
