Learn more at: telusdigital.com Position Overview A senior-level finance position responsible for leading financial reporting operations, tax coordination, and ensuring compliance with international standards while managing month-end processes and team support. Key Responsibilities Lead internal financial reporting processes and ensure accuracy of financial statements Coordinate US tax compliance and reporting requirements Serve as the subject matter expert for International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) Oversee Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance and month-end close procedures Review and approve month-end reconciliations Provide technical guidance and support to team members on complex accounting matters Develop and implement new financial processes and controls Demonstrate SOX (Sarbanes-Oxley) excellence and compliance through consistent management review documentation and maintaining of internal controls Required Qualifications Professional accounting designation (CPA Canada or equivalent) +10 years of progressive finance experience Expert knowledge of IFRS and US GAAP Strong understanding of SOX compliance and internal controls Advanced financial reporting and analysis skills Experience with month-end close processes in a complex organization Strong leadership and team mentoring abilities Technical Skills Advanced proficiency in financial reporting systems Expert-level Excel and financial modeling skills Knowledge of internal control frameworks Experience with financial process automation and improvement Soft Skills Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills Collaborative approach to team leadership Location: United States-Remote TELUS Values: TELUS Digital recognizes and embraces the importance of values in our ever-changing workplace.
