Family Physician - Urgent Primary Care Centre - Community - Surrey 1 year ago Be among the first 25 applicants Job Summary Surrey-Whalley Urgent and Primary Care Centre Fraser Health (FH) invites you to join an innovative and unique primary health care team located in one of Canadas fastest-growing and culturally diverse cities. The Surrey-Whalley Urgent and Primary Care Centre (UPCC) offers Full-time, Part-time, and Locum opportunities. We operate in a team-based care model that includes physicians, nurse practitioners, nurses, social workers, clinical counsellors, allied health professionals, and administrative support. You will function as an essential member of our clinical care team and manage a panel of patients. Our goal is to provide patient-centered and trauma-informed care to our clients, focusing on serving the vulnerable and medically complex populations. Experience in mental health, OAT, and working with at-risk populations will be an asset. Join us to provide timely access to patients, families, and caregivers to comprehensive, person-centered, culturally safe, and quality care. Remuneration: Contracted in accordance with the provincial physician master agreement. Full Time/Part Time/Locum/Temporary: Duties will be split between longitudinal care and urgent care walk-in services, primarily within the longitudinal care stream. Community: Surrey Surrey is one of Canadas fastest-growing cities, with a land mass comparable to Vancouver, Richmond, and Burnaby combined. Known as the City of Parks, it features over 6,000 acres of parkland, 15 golf courses, and driving ranges.
