Department: Medical Oncology and Hematology Competition #: 344-24-713505517 The Department of Medical Oncology and Hematology at CCMB, in collaboration with Shared Health and the University of Manitoba, seeks applications for a full-time Hematologist. Preference is given to candidates with training or experience in managing hemoglobin disorders like sickle cell disease and thalassemia. The department comprises 43 faculty members across three sites, engaging in clinical and research activities in oncology, quality of life, health services, and epidemiology. Opportunities exist for clinical and basic research collaborations. The successful candidate will provide high-quality care for patients with hematologic disorders, participate in teaching, and collaborate on research projects. Qualifications: Candidates must have specialty qualifications in Internal Medicine and Hematology and be eligible for registration with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Manitoba. Hematology certification from the Royal College is preferred. This is an academic appointment at the University of Manitoba with salary and rank based on experience.
