Responsibilities of the Senior Accountant is as follows: Completing the full month-end process Independently complete consolidation of subsidiaries and prepare financial statements in accordance with IFRS on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis Prepare and present monthly balance sheet, income statement and changes in financial position budget variance analysis; Preparation of consolidation and elimination entries; Ability to work with and fully understand large quantities of data and organize in a presentable manner Provide backup to Controller as required Lead the monthly accounting close process and overall management of General Ledger, including recording company transactions, classifications and reconciliation of account balances in accordance with company policy Obtain and maintain a thorough understanding of the financial reporting and general ledger structure Preparation, reporting and analysis of monthly, quarterly and annual consolidated results under IFRS Collaboration with external auditors to provide all requested information to facilitate audit completion Collaboration with external tax advisors to provide all requested information to facilitate the preparation and timely filing of corporate tax returns Continuously evaluate workflow processes and procedures to ensure accurate and efficient operations and opportunities for process improvement while maintaining a high level of accuracy Propose recommendations for changes and improvements to accounting policies/procedures; partner with cross functional teams to develop and implement approved changes Ability to interact with all levels of associates to gain an understanding of, and resolution to, issues that pertain to the top and bottom lines; and Participate in inventory management from a cost and accounting perspective All other duties/projects as assigned TMGMS Job Requirements: 4+ years financial accounting experience CPA designation or advanced standing Strong ERP financial systems experience including generating reports Experience in rapidly growing companies Analytical with an aptitude in dealing with numbers Apply
