Senior Broker Reinsurance Are you driven by client management? Does the reinsurance industry inspire you? If so, this position is ideal for you. What the day will look like Help manage a portfolio of existing clients with a significant level of annual brokerage Assist with the generation of new revenue Achieve high client satisfaction by providing exceptional service through managing the overall reinsurance placement process Be viewed by clients as a strategic partner Focus on helping senior leaders grow existing accounts and attract new accounts Achieve treaty placement goals for client portfolios of business at or above set levels Be recognized as an expert with outstanding problem solving abilities and top notch client relationship management capabilities Build and maintain effective working relationships with clients and reinsurers Work closely with management to establish and implement strategy for new business development Inform clients about other Aon products and services that can help them manage their business needs Ensure all placements are checked and booked in our proprietary system Ensure that comprehensive and accurate contracts document the relationship between cedant and reinsurer Speak effectively to clients and professional groups Represent Aon externally through professional associations and industry groups Demonstrate leadership within Aon and the insurance/reinsurance industry Have superior knowledge of the service offerings of Aon Work with management to research and develop new approaches and concepts Foster and promote a team approach to both internal and external business relationships Manage account team members to ensure they are meeting clients needs Be committed to pursuing self-development of knowledge and skills in the evolving world of insurance, reinsurance and associated analytics How this opportunity is different This role offers a unique chance to make a significant impact by supporting insurance companies in providing financial security to Canadians. Independent self-starter committed to high-quality client service. Strong analytical skills for business decision-making. Proactive problem-solving and adaptability to change. Proficient in MS Office and capable of learning new software applications. Professional demeanor with a positive attitude. CIP or similar designation is beneficial.
