Job Description POSITION PURPOSE SUMMARY: This role involves managing, maintaining, configuring, and ensuring the optimal performance of information systems. It includes oversight and governance of all IT engagements, strategic planning, budgeting, project prioritization, and aligning IT projects with business priorities. The position also manages relationships with major stakeholders and supports the development and delivery of the IT Strategy. It acts as the primary link between business unit strategies and IT priorities. Accountabilities Strategy And Planning : Oversee IT strategic and operational services, lead IT Service Management adoption, coordinate IT strategic planning and budgeting, and monitor IT budgets. Acquisition And Deployment : Manage stakeholder engagement, support business strategy alignment, and oversee vendor contracts and licensing. Operational Management : Monitor IT service delivery, liaise with partners, review IT performance, support service agreements, enforce policies, and develop business cases for IT initiatives. Team Leadership : Lead, coach, recruit, and evaluate IT team members, ensuring full staffing and participation in training. Critical Relationship Management : Manage internal and external relationships with IT staff, business leads, vendors, and service providers. Managerial/Technical Responsibilities : Report to a manager, oversee up to 10 IT professionals, and maintain relationships with IT leadership. Financial And Material Management : Manage budgets, control purchases, and ensure compliance with financial policies. Working Conditions : Office environment, occasional travel, flexible schedule near project deadlines. Education, Experience And Qualifications : Willingness to support the mission, compliance with health and safety policies, and relevant education and experience. Alternative qualifications may be considered. Education, Qualifications And Certifications : Masters or Bachelors degree in IT or Business, professional designations (e.g., BRMP, PMP), ITIL Foundation, and system certifications. Experience And Knowledge : 10+ years in IT, with at least 5 years in leadership roles, managing across IT domains and engaging with business. Skills And Capabilities : Excellent communication, planning, negotiation, leadership, vendor management, strategic planning, and customer service skills.
