Extractive Metallurgy and Mineral Processing SRK Consulting is an independent, international consulting practice, providing globally integrated consulting services to the international mining and metals sector. We are seeking a Senior-Principal Resource Consultant / Consultant Senior/Principal En Ressources based in Quebec, Canada. As a Senior/Principal Resource Consultant, you will have the opportunity to join one of the largest and most experienced resource teams globally, with a diverse cross-section of structural geologists, resource geologists, geostatisticians, and mining engineers. Your general responsibilities will include: Mineral resource estimation Technical reporting Due diligence project reviews Establishing and maintaining client relationships Essential Requirements: A degree in geology or engineering 10+ years of applied resource estimation experience in an exploration, operational, or corporate capacity Professional registration with Ordre des Geologues du Quebec (OGQ) or the Ordre des Ingenieurs du Quebec (IOQ) Sound geological understanding of ore deposits with 3D geological modeling skills Experience with modern implicit modelling tools is beneficial Strong geostatistical skills and proficiency with computerized resource estimation tools Ability to work independently as well as in multi-disciplinary project teams A high level of proficiency in both spoken and written French is necessary for this position, along with at least intermediate proficiency in both written and spoken English Ability to communicate in other languages in addition to French and English is viewed favorably Established network within the mining industry Strong written and verbal communication skills Some prior consulting experience is preferred Flexibility to travel locally and internationally Capacity to act as a Qualified Person or equivalent to satisfy requirements for National Instrument 43-101, JORC, SAMREC, etc. In return for considering a future with us, we offer: A competitive compensation and benefits package A progressive work environment that encourages innovative thinking, with recognition for excellence and achievement The opportunity to work with multi-disciplinary teams from around the world Diversity of projects and clients within a non-hierarchical consultancy environment The opportunity to own shares in your local practice and our global company - SRK is an independent group, owned by its employees Applicants should respond by submitting their CV online by clicking the button below.
