Background And Purpose Of The Role The North America Warehouse Manager oversees the day-to-day operations and strategic continuous improvement projects in one or more of the seven Distribution Centers in the US and Canada. They are responsible for managing the 3rd party logistics provider (3PL) relationship, storage & handling of finished goods through the DC network, and the loading of customer orders within budget guidelines. Additionally, the Warehouse Manager will ensure On Time Loading, maximum Customer Case Fill at optimal costs, and compliance with quality, environmental, and safety standards as per Unilever guidelines. Key Responsibilities: Build and maintain collaborative relationships with 3PLs to improve service levels, reduce costs, increase productivity, and simplify processes. Lead daily stand-up meetings, publish weekly KPIs, and participate in bi-annual 3PL leadership reviews. Drive improvements in productivity, monitor material movement data, maintain DC profiles, and track savings programs. Ensure operational excellence in customer service, order accuracy, secure loads, inventory accuracy, and system integrity (SAP & WMS). Manage yard operations to unload trailers within 24 hours and ensure proper documentation and reason codes are assigned for shipments and returns. Ensure compliance with SHEQ and food safety standards, implement continuous improvement programs, and maintain contingency plans. Coordinate with Unilever teams for month-end close, transportation optimization, supplier invoice processing, and procurement support. Minimum Requirements: Ability to travel approximately 20% to the DCs. 4-year university degree in supply chain, engineering, or business. Industry certifications such as APICS, Six Sigma, or lean principles. At least 5 years of experience in supply chain or distribution operations, including managing 3PLs. Experience with order-to-cash, procure-to-pay cycles, and supply chain planning. Preferred Qualifications: Master''s degree in Business Administration or Logistics. FMCG industry experience.
