Requirements:Experience a fulfilling and supportive environment where ingenuity is rewarded, collaboration is encouraged, and opportunities are readily available.Develop and maintain Health, Safety & Environmental programs including policies, procedures, work instructions and guidelinesEnsure implementation and adherence to Health, Safety & Environmental programs in all departments, and works with managers and supervisors in the enforcementEnsure applicable hazard identification / analysis impacting workplace health and safety is conducted and action items are implementedEnsure Health, Safety & Environmental programs remain current with applicable legal and other requirements Performs routine Health, Safety & Environmental audits and inspections and reports findings to managementProvide and coordinate employee Health, Safety and Environmental trainingReview all accident / incident investigations and ensure proper corrective actions are implementedProvides regular statistics to management regarding Health, Safety & Environmental performanceRequirements:Minimum of 5 years of health, safety, environmental experience working in an engineering and/or manufacturing environment, preferably automotiveMinimum of 3 years of HSE experience in implementing and maintaining an HSE Management System (ISO 14001 and 45001)Must have a degree / diploma in Occupational Health & Safety or equivalentCRSP designation an assetISO Certified Auditor preferredMust be able to communicate with employees at all levels of the organizationMust have excellent interpersonal, customer service, time management, and organizational skills Must maintain a high level of confidentiality at all timesMust be able to work overtime when necessary; may be required to work different shiftsMust have a good understanding of Canadian Health, Safety & Environmental legislationProficient in MS Office
