The Sterilizer Operator is a member of the manufacturing team and, is responsible for cleaning and sterilizing the utensils and equipment used in the production of medical devices. Operating industrial washers and autoclave for the complete cleaning and sanitizing of utensils Detailed document control (using GMP) and accurate documentation of procedures and supplies used Daily monitoring of water systems, industrial sterilizers and glass washer Monitor inventory of cleaning supplies and follow replenishment procedures Perform daily, weekly, and monthly GMP cleaning and housekeeping Responsible for performing top down cleaning within the IS0 5 Cleanroom, and its adjacent cleaning areas in the absence of cleaning subcontractor Technical Knowledge/Experience ~ 1 year work experience in a GMP/GLP or ISO compliant environment in the same capacity or either in a Manufacturing or Quality department ~ Excellent written and oral English communication skills ~ Operators are on their feet, walking or standing for much of the shift Operators are required to bend, reach, lift and move equipment and supplies as needed. Operators handle mild chemicals such as detergents and antimicrobial solutions.
