Job Role : Senior Network SpecialistLocation : Woodbridge, Ontario (3 times in week need to go to onsite)Duration : Permanent Role Role SummaryThis individual will have broad exposure to data centre networking technologies to support customer accounts in the healthcare sector. Technical experience with Cisco ACI application-centric networking and micro-segmentation, Palo Alto firewalls, BGP routing and Citrix NetScaler load balancers are highly desirable. Experience working in successful, high growth organizations will be a plus. On-call support and some flexibility in work hours will be required.Key ResponsibilitiesDay-to-day work in client environments.Communicate easily with senior client IT personnel, front-line client IT personnel and coworkers.Troubleshoot and resolve customer support incidents within the SLA paying special attention to customer satisfaction.Design and implement application-centric multi-site Cisco ACI fabrics incorporating Palo Alto firewalls and EW/NS micro-segmentation and execute migrations from Nexus 9K minimizing disruption and risk.Cisco routing/switching operations and administration.Palo Alto firewall operations and administration.Support EW and NS micro-segmentation within an integrated Cisco ACI/Palo Alto fabric.Citrix NetScaler operations and administration.Monitoring operations and proactive administration for hosted network infrastructures.Capacity and Performance ManagementChange ManagementMaintain and develop ACI-based network architecture to keep pace with the application performance and security requirementsMaintain customer support documentation.Work on audits and reports for customer environments.Required Personal Skills:Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.Excellent verbal and written communication skills with an ability to develop rapport with clients and co-workers.Highly motivated with the ability to work well independently and in a team environment.Ability to multi-task in an environment with changing priorities keeping customer service as the prime focus.Ability to perform in a constantly changing and growing environment.Enjoys working in a busy environment and can demonstrate high level of creativity, attention to detail, and adaptability.Technical Skills:Strong experience with supporting and troubleshooting Microsoft technologies.Minimum 10 years experience in a data centre network support role.Experience with the following technologies is required:Cisco Converged InfrastructureCisco ACICisco routing and switchingSoftware Defined Networking and Micro-SegmentationBGP routingExperience with the following technologies is desirable:Citrix NetScaler load balancersPalo Alto firewallsEducational Requirements:Post-Secondary Business or Computing Science degree/diploma (or equivalent work experience).Current Cisco CCNP Data Center or CCIEPalo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Administrator would be advantageousMindlance is an equal-opportunity employer.
