OUR OPENING AND YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES We are seeking to hire Senior Field Service Technician responsible for troubleshooting and repairing industry related products, perform calibrations and preventative maintenance duties, resolve first line customer service issues and accurately complete service reports in Toronto GTA and surrounding areas. You could also lead efforts to modernize, upgrade and convert customer existing equipment. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Troubleshoot and repair all products Perform system and equipment installations, calibrations and preventative maintenance duties as required Ensure customer uptime requirements are met and that PM work at assigned accounts are completed on time Complete system configuration and testing prior to delivery Provide technical solutions consultant and application support to the customer and the sales force Responsible for resolving first line customer complaints and invoicing problems Ensure vehicle service and maintenance requirements are met All other duties as assigned WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED Minimum 2-year college diploma in Engineering/Electronics/Instrumentation Technology and/or Computer Science and experience in a technical support role, technical troubleshooting or technical installation in the industrial electronics technology marketplace is required. The ability to lift, transport and place test weights and equipment of up to 20 Kg (testing of equipment may require movement of up to 300Kg in 20 Kg increments). Must possess a valid Driver's License and car.
