Job Duties As a Family Physician with Horizon Health Network, youll have the opportunity to: Deliver personalized, full-scope care to individuals and families of all ages, building lasting relationships that make a real difference. Manage a dynamic mix of scheduled and same-day patients, using your clinical skills to assess, diagnose, treat, and follow up with compassion and confidence. Work hand-in-hand with a skilled interdisciplinary team to offer coordinated, patient-first care that supports the whole person. Prescribe treatments, make referrals, and even provide home visitsbringing care to where its needed most. Lead and engage in community-based health promotion, outreach initiatives, and continuous learning grounded in evidence-based practice. Inspire the next generation of care providers through mentorship and teaching opportunities with medical learners and nurse practitioners. Support your community through after-hours coverage, including opportunities to cover local nursing homes and the Extra-Mural Program. Qualifications To be considered, you must: Hold a valid license to practice medicine in New Brunswick. Be a member in good standing with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of New Brunswick. Carry CMPA malpractice insurance appropriate to your scope of practice. Possess excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaborative skills. Demonstrate consistent attendance and reliability. Be physically able to perform the required duties. Note for U.S. Physicians: Licensing in New Brunswick is a straightforward process for physicians who are American Board Certified.
