Position Title: Senior Implementation Program Lead Smart Infrastructure Projects Location: Mississauga or Markham, ON We are seeking an experienced Senior Program Lead to manage the deployment of advanced smart metering infrastructure (AMI) systems for clients in the utilities sector, with an emphasis on large-scale or Tier 1 initiatives. This role may include oversight of project staff such as coordinators and other specialists depending on project complexity. Working in collaboration with technical teams, you''ll troubleshoot challenges, propose solutions, and ensure alignment with scope and performance expectations. Serve as the main contact for customer-facing AMI deployments Lead and coordinate implementation activities from kickoff to completion Develop and manage detailed project schedules and resource plans Monitor project financials and report on budget performance Identify and mitigate risks, ensuring smooth and timely delivery Collaborate with engineering and IT to resolve technical challenges Promote alignment across internal project teams and client stakeholders Travel within the region as required (approx. Bachelors degree or equivalent practical experience Minimum 7 years of project leadership experience, preferably in the utility or infrastructure space Professional project management certification (PMP or Prince2) Must be eligible for Controlled Goods Program (CGP) clearance if working in Mississauga Masters degree in business or a related discipline Deep knowledge of project delivery methodologies and governance Demonstrated experience managing major utility-focused initiatives
