Job Title: IT Project Manager VHM & Electric Bus SchedulingLocation: New Westminster, BC (Hybrid 2 days onsite)Start Date: August 1, 2025End Date (Initial Term): November 30, 2025 (with strong possibility of 12+ month extension)Contract Type: Full-Time ContractOverview:We are seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to lead two high-impact projects for a public-sector transportation organization in the Greater Vancouver area. This role will focus on implementing a Vehicle Health Monitoring (VHM) system and deploying new scheduling capabilities for Battery Electric Buses (BEB).Youll work closely with internal stakeholders, cross-functional teams, and third-party vendors to drive full project lifecycle activitiesfrom planning and business case development through execution and delivery.Key Responsibilities:Lead the planning, execution, monitoring, and closing of two technology implementation projectsDevelop project charters, schedules, business cases, risk registers, and governance documentationManage cross-functional project teams including business analysts, technical resources, and vendorsOversee project finances, scope, procurement, communications, and stakeholder engagementReport status and performance to steering committees and executive sponsorsEnsure alignment with organizational PMO methodologies and project delivery standardsRequired Skills & Experience:8+ years of end-to-end IT project management experience (SDLC preferred)Experience delivering technology projects in large or complex organizationsStrong ability to lead teams, influence stakeholders, and manage changeExcellent written and verbal communication skillsExperience with RFI/RFP processes and vendor managementPublic sector experience in Canada is an assetPMP certification is preferredProficiency in Microsoft Project, SharePoint, and Microsoft OfficeWorking Arrangement:Hybrid: Minimum 2 days per week onsite in New Westminster, BCStandard hours: MondayFriday, 7.5 hours/dayLaptop providedOccasional travel to local sites may be required (not reimbursed)
