As a Cake Decorator, you will be responsible for creating visually appealing cakes that meet customer specifications while maintaining high standards of quality and presentation. **Duties** * Design and decorate cakes according to customer orders and specifications, ensuring each cake is visually appealing and meets quality standards. * Prepare various cake batters, icings, and fillings in accordance with recipes and food safety guidelines. * Package finished cakes appropriately for display or delivery, ensuring they remain intact during transport. * Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area, adhering to food safety regulations at all times. * Collaborate with team members to fulfill large orders or special requests, providing excellent customer service throughout the process. * Stay updated on industry trends in cake decoration to continually enhance skills and offerings. **Experience** * Previous experience in cake decorating is required. * Strong knowledge of food safety practices and food handling regulations. * Familiarity with basic baking techniques and kitchen equipment used in food preparation. * Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with clients regarding their cake designs. * A creative mindset with an eye for detail, allowing for unique and personalized cake designs.
