We are currently seeking a results-oriented and dedicated individual to join our Acheson, AB team as a Product Tester. This will be a part time position. Product Testers test newly manufactured products to ensure that they adhere to Profires manufacturing specifications and high standards of quality and safety. They also assist with the testing and diagnosis of products returned under RMA. Job Responsibilities: Implement both 100% and sample testing of newly manufactured product as directed by the QC Lead Test returned product and provide assessments and feedback to the QC Lead, RMA Coordinator, and Test Engineers Ensure that all products are up to Profires high standards of quality and safety Assist with simple product modifications, firmware updates, repairs, and model conversions as directed Ensure that accurate quality control records are kept for all testing activities Organize and maintain the quality control test bench and work area Assist the Operations Team with warehouse cleanup and quarterly inventory counts as requested Suggest and submit quality improvements to QC Lead All other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the QC Lead Qualifications: 0-2 Years prior work experience in a related field Must work well in an fast-paced environment with dynamic requirements and priorities Attention to detail and committed to managing problems through resolution Being adept with MS Office tools such as Word, Excel and Outlook is necessary Ability to use hand tools Dependable and hard working Positive Attitude Preference would be given to candidates with the following optional preferred qualifications: Experience troubleshooting and repairing electronic products Familiarity with Profire products Familiarity with ISO, Six-Sigma, or other Quality Programs Note: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
