Business Analyst: On behalf of our Banking client, Procom is searching for a Business Analyst for an 8 month contract role. This position is a hybrid position with 2 days onsite at our clients Mississauga office. Business Analyst - Job Description: The Senior Business Data Analyst role is focused on the buildout of foundational reporting data architecture as part of the data transformation journey. The role involves designing and implementing target state infrastructure and data flows to support Enterprise risk functions, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of data for ERM regulatory reporting. Business Analyst - Responsibilities: Drive execution of transformation efforts for data governance policy alignment and data strategy for critical ERM reports Partner with data consumers to agree on report data requirements and data quality challenges Analyze data lineage documentation and support the creation of data and system flow documentation Support updates for key data capabilities including metadata repositories and data dictionaries Identify data quality hot spots and improve data quality controls Manage change management processes related to data flow documentation Prepare and present status updates and solutions to stakeholders and technology teams Provide user and operational support, including documentation of business/data requirements Business Analyst - Mandatory Skills: 12+ years of experience in Banking or Finance Strong business analysis competency with hands-on experience in data analysis and lineage Execution-oriented self-starter who can work independently Strong negotiation, influencing, and stakeholder management skills Excellent data analysis and presentation/communication skills Ability to balance between understanding the big picture and attention to detail Experienced in leading complex, large-scale initiatives Business Analyst Nice-to-Have Skills: Experience with data governance Working knowledge of Data Governance Policy or Operating Model Organizational savvy and understanding of management processes Experience working with remote and global teams Ability to build partnerships and collaborate effectively Business Analyst Assignment Length: This is an 8 month contract position.
