Business Analyst Our client is looking for a Business Analyst with the qualifications listed below: Job Description: The Land Intelligence, Surveillance, Reconnaissance Modernization (LISRM) Project is built on three (3) major lines of efforts: -Networking and Integration: The project will network and integrate the Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) Command and Control (C2) systems and sensors; -Digital ISR C2 Tools: The project will digitize ISR C2 tools; -Modernized Sensors: The project will modernize the Canadian Army (CA) ISR sensor capabilities and provide the CA with a Counter-Uncrewed Aircraft Systems (C-UAS) capability. Primary Responsibilities: -Develop and document statements of requirements for considered alternatives; -Perform business analyses of functional requirements to identify information, procedures, and decision flows; -Evaluate existing procedures and methods, identify and document items such as database content, structure, application subsystems; -Define and document interfaces of manual to automated operations within application subsystems, to external systems, and between new and existing systems; -Establish acceptance test criteria with client; and -Support and use the selected departmental methodologies. -Evaluate and select appropriate technologies, frameworks, and tools for implementing business solutions by considering factors such as security requirements, scalability, interoperability, and compliance standards. -Collaborate closely with all stakeholders on the project to understand operational requirements, incorporate feedback and ensure alignment with project goals. Must Have -Must have a certificate, diploma or degree in one (1) of the following from a recognized* Canadian post-secondary institution, or the equivalent as established by a recognized* Canadian academic credentials assessment service, if obtained outside of Canada: Business Administration Business Information Systems Business Management Computer Science Information Systems Information Systems Management Management Information Systems - Must have 5 years of experience within the last 10 years as a Business Analyst on a Major Project responsible for the management and optimization of two (2) of the following: Project processes; Automated and computerized systems; Change Management; Future capacity requirements; and Existing and future human resources. Duration: 12 Months + option for one year extension Location: Onsite, Ottawa Security Clearance: Secret & Controlled Goods
