**Job Overview** We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Truck Driver to join our commercial flooring company . The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently while ensuring exceptional customer service. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, effective communication skills, and the ability to handle heavy lifting and moving tasks as needed. **Duties** * Operate commercial trucks to transport goods to various locations while adhering to all traffic laws and regulations. * Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance. * Load and unload cargo, utilizing forklifts when necessary, ensuring items are secured properly for transport. * Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation, including mileage, fuel consumption, and delivery times. * Communicate effectively with dispatchers, management team and customers regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise during transit. * Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns professionally. * Assist in warehouse operations as needed, including inventory management and organization of goods. **Requirements** * Valid driver''s license with a clean driving record. * Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) and moving tasks as required. * Experience operating forklifts is preferred but not mandatory; training may be provided. * Strong communication skills to effectively interact with team members and customers. * Previous experience in a warehouse setting is a plus. * Must be able to work flexible hours, including nights or weekends if necessary.
