**Job description -** **Experienced tile installer** **Design Flooring Centre** is a well established large commercial and residential flooring contractor in business since 1997. We are looking for an experienced flooring and wall tile installer to join our team in Medicine Hat, AB. Applicants must be dependable and professional with experience in residential applications. Experience in commercial projects installation are definite assets. This is a sub contract position with the opportunity to make between $1500 and $2000 a week. Our competitive rates are available on request. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: * Lifting and transferring materials and tools on and off job sites * Preparation of floors including sweeping, vacuuming, spreading glue, mixing floor patch, self leveling and removal of existing products * Measuring, cutting and installation * Working on both commercial and residential work sites * We provide all installation materials, accessories and trims. * Paid every two weeks, no training will be provided for this position. Qualifications: * Valid drivers license mandatory * Transportation to and from work sites * Must have your own tools The preferred candidate is: * Professional with excellent customer service and communication skills * Efficient, has good time management skills and is able to work unsupervised * A team player with a great work ethic Schedule: * 8 hour shift * Monday to Friday Full Time * Have contracts presently for the next 6-9 months and longer We offer an excellent compensation package and if you are wanting to relocate from another province, we will assist the right candidate and their family with their move to Medicine Hat by providing the first 3 months of housing and can help in finding a more permanent residence if needed.
