**Job description** Remediclean is looking for experienced and ticketed asbestos abatement workers. *Duties*: * Setup and demobilization of dust and/or hazardous containment structures * Removal/Abatement of hazardous building components such as asbestos, lead and/or mold * Cleaning and decontamination of materials, equipment, and jobsite housekeeping. * General waste demolition and disposal following safe-practices * Following health and safety requirements, safe work procedures and safe work practices * Additional work includes clean demolition. *Vacation:* * Mandatory 3-month probation period * 2 weeks'' vacation per year * Vacation pay after 1 year * Pay will be based on experience *Candidate Requirements:* * CSA approved steel-toed boots, safety glasses, & hardhat, cut proof gloves. * Fit to perform duties including lifting up to 70 lbs. **An Asbestos ticket & WHMIS/CSTS 2020 is required to be completed prior to being on-site.** *Summary* As an Asbestos Abatement Technician, you will be essential in ensuring safe and effective removal of asbestos materials in various settings. Reporting to the Site Supervisor, your role involves utilizing core skills in abatement, cleaning and demolition while operating hand and power tools. Your expertise will contribute to maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to regulatory standards, making you a vital part of our commitment to health and safety in the workplace.
