This is a critical role in our organization, responsible for driving a culture of quality and continuous improvement throughout the company. **Key Responsibilities:** * **Quality Management System (QMS) Leadership:** Maintain and enhance our ISO 9001 certified QMS. Oversee internal audits, corrective and preventive action (CAPA) processes, and management review meetings. Act within the frameworks of PDCA and DMAIC. * **Process Improvement:** Identify and analyze areas for improvement in our manufacturing and operational processes. Implement Lean Six Sigma methodologies to optimize efficiency and reduce waste. Perform PFMEA''s as part of your toolkit. * **Root Cause Analysis (RCA):** Conduct thorough investigations into quality issues using RCA techniques. Implement robust solutions to prevent recurrence and drive continuous improvement. * **Internal Audit Program:** Develop and execute a comprehensive internal audit program. Lead and mentor the internal audit team to ensure compliance with ISO 9001 standards and identify areas for improvement. * **Team Leadership:** Build and manage a high-performing quality team. Provide coaching, mentoring, and development opportunities to ensure continuous growth and skill enhancement. * **Supplier Evaluation:** Work with the procurement team to evaluate new suppliers and existing suppliers, helping strategic suppliers improve their quality. * **Customer Satisfaction:** Partner with customer service and sales teams to gather and address customer feedback related to quality. Ensure customer satisfaction and resolve any quality-related concerns promptly. * **Workplace Health and Safety:** Lead the health and safety function to ensure the workplace meets the highest standards for safety. * **Lead Special Initiatives:** Implement ISO 14001 and ISO 45001, implement better traceability, etc. **Qualifications:** * **Education:** Bachelor''s degree in engineering, quality management, or a related field. * **Experience:** * Minimum 5 years of experience in quality, preferably at an electrical equipment manufacturer. * Proven track record of leading and implementing ISO 9001 quality management systems. * Demonstrated expertise in root cause analysis and process improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean Six Sigma). **Certifications:** * Certified Lead Auditor (ISO 9001) or equivalent certification is highly preferred. * Lean Six Sigma Black Belt or Green Belt certification is a plus. **Skills:** * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams. * Ability to think critically and strategically about quality issues. * Proficiency in statistical analysis and data-driven decision-making. * Ability to evaluate and implement software for use in various quality processes. * Strong health and safety knowledge. * Knowledge of NetSuite is a plus.
