**Job Description** In this valuable role, the Clinical Supervisor is accountable for the supervision of Nurses, who are caring and making a difference for clients within the community. The Clinical Supervisor will have the expertise to assess, implement and evaluate a wide range of clinical care interventions to ensure the delivery of safe, quality, and ethical care. **Why** **youll love working here:** * Be a part of a great supportive team of fellow nurses and supervisors * Opportunity to develop long term therapeutic relationships with patients. * Opportunity to practice and develop complex clinical skills * Best in class training and development programs, including a comprehensive clinical orientation and hands-on skills labs * Celebration and Recognition programs * Comprehensive health and dental benefit plans * Company paid mobile devices * Mileage compensation * Education allowance for employees and family * Opportunities for career advancement * Employee Assistance Program * Employee perks and exclusive offers **What** **you****ll do****:** * Supervise and support Nurses to ensure practices comply with all legislated standards of practice as well as company policies and procedures. * Respond to and advise/resolve concerns from community staff, patients/families, and other team members. * Provide ongoing leadership through regular huddles, face to face meetings and one-on-ones. * Initiate patient safety incident investigations and documents to ensure timelines and action plans are met. * Work collaboratively with nursing team members to support clinical documentation and submission requirements according to specific funder reporting guidelines. * Engage patients in problem solving using a collaborative approach, offering health teaching, building rapport and trust to identify patient health care needs, strengths, capacities, and goals. * Engage staff in problem solving, offering education, coaching, and mentoring in resolution of problems. * Maintain the knowledge, skills, and attitudes to provide safe, efficient, effective service in all areas of practice by keeping abreast of changes in practice setting that affect scope of practice. **What** **you bring:** * Current RN registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario and entitled to practice without restrictions * Minimum of 5 years experience as a practicing Registered Nurse * Comprehensive patient health assessment skills are required * Possess an understanding of the principles of community nursing practice * Proven experience leading and managing a team * Knowledge of clinical documentation standards and practice guidelines is required * Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and teaching skills * Commitment to professional development in clinical practice that is relevant to home health care * Effective critical thinking and problem-solving skills * Must possess a valid drivers license and access to reliable transportation * Able to provide a current, clear Vulnerable Sector Screening (VSS) * C.N.A.
