DESCRIPTION Vulcraft Canada is looking for an AZ driver/shipper to join our team. The AZ driver/shipper is responsible for the safe and efficient loading and unloading of materials, as well as the safe transport of those goods on local delivery routes. RESPONSIBILITIES * Operating tractor and trailer equipment safely by adhering to all safety requirements * Adhere to safe driving regulations * Exceptional judgment in placing loads in optimal positions to ensure cargo securement * Maintain accurate driver logs and/or records * Safe and efficient loading and unloading of trailers using a forklift, Combilift and crane * Movement of materials within the shop to ensure materials are stored in a safe manner * Ensure accurate and timely processing of all shipping and receiving documents * Ensure documents are cross checked with purchase/sales orders for accuracy and received in the system daily * Perform other duties as required by the Supervisor QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS * AZ license, with minimum 3 years experience * Flatbed and/or oversized load experience is an asset * Strong communication skills, both oral and written * Clean driving abstract and CVOR * Experience in the steel industry is considered an asset * Safety conscious attitude * Overtime hours may be required * Strong work ethic; effectively contribute in a team environment BENEFITS & COMPENSATION * Employer paid extended health, dental, vision, plan * RRSP plan with employer match * Stock purchase plan with employer match * Profit Sharing Plan
