**Magenta Health** is growing and seeks to hire again! We are looking for **one full-time Clinical IT Support Technician** to work at our organization. If youre the person who your friends and family turn to when they have a computer problem, youre the type of person were looking for - and we can teach you the rest. **Internal training and ongoing mentorship** by our senior software developers will be provided. However, individuals applying to this role should generally be familiar with basic types of hardware and software used in typical office settings to provide support remotely if needed (e.g. standard windows and OSX, ordinary consumer cloud systems such as Google Drive). **General Responsibilities:** **In House Tech Support** * Ensure in-clinic hardware is working properly by triaging issues in real-time and providing support to onsite staff as needed * Monitor concerns flagged in internal team messaging app * Take calls during business hours via internal tech support phone line to provide live support as required * Take responsibility for triaging technical issues: either by resolving directly, or ensuring a senior support staff is able to address and resolve as appropriate * Travel (within the GTA) to third party clients to provide similar support, as described above * Provide similar internal IT support per the needs of sister companies, as described above **In House Technology Management** * Ensure clinic has spare hardware ready in case of hardware failure by maintaining inventory * Keep track of ongoing/repeating issues and ensure they are resolved in a timely manner * Maintain technical documentation related to hardware and software use * Implement onsite hardware changes as they arise, per the needs of the organization * Supporting Technology Related Change Management * Working with colleagues to implement and update technology systems including VoIP systems, online scheduling systems, project management tools, clinic orchestration tools, electronic medical record systems, etc **In House Facilities Support** * Assist with ad-hoc facilities and maintenance tasks * Perform light repairs, assist with furniture moves, hardware swaps, and minor physical tasks (e.g., lifting, reaching) * Support the facilities manager in coordinating upkeep and addressing on-site needs as they arise (e.g., lighting, equipment) **Supporting Technology Related Change Management** * Working with colleagues to implement and update technology systems including VoIP systems, online scheduling systems, project management tools, clinic orchestration tools, electronic medical record systems, etc **Opportunities** * If there is interest and/or existing skills, ongoing development of junior software development tasks, included but not limited to: coding, testing, analysis, planning and design **Details:** This full-time position will be a **hybrid of onsite and remote work**. When working in-person, you can typically expect to visit one of our three clinic locations (Riverside, Beaches, Midtown), as well as various third party clients in and around the GTA. Given the inherent risk setting of a medical practice, a complete vaccination history and documented immunity is a condition of employment at Magenta Health. Scheduling will be dependent on the needs of the organization; beyond that, we strive to work with our individual staff to provide flexibility and autonomy where possible. The pay range will start at $22/hr, commensurate with experience.
