Our mission is to consistently deliver exceptional products while maintaining strong partnerships and ensuring operational excellence. **Role Summary:** We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Logistics Coordinator & Production Planner to manage day-to-day logistics, production planning, demand forecasting, and inventory management. This position plays a critical role in ensuring seamless operations across production, supply chain, customer service, and logistics while supporting key stakeholders including buyers, sales, production managers, QA, and external partners. **Key Responsibilities:** **Demand Planning & Forecasting:** * Analyze customer forecasts and historical sales data to prepare accurate annual forecasts aligned with the budget. * Update and maintain forecast files based on customer projections and actual sales performance. * Generate weekly inventory and sales vs. fulfillment reports to support data-driven decision-making. * Create production and inventory plans for customer programs, including analysis of slow-moving and new items. **Production Planning & Scheduling:** * Develop and manage a six-week rolling production plan considering staffing, QA restrictions, inventory, maintenance, and inspections. * Finalize production schedules in collaboration with buyers, production managers, and QA. * Prepare and update the Super Schedule and input data into ERP system for MRP planning. * Adjust plans and schedules in real-time to reflect changes in customer demand, equipment availability, or supply constraints. * **Logistics & Inventory Coordination:** * Coordinate outbound shipments and resolve delivery issues by working directly with carriers and customers. * Evaluate finished goods inventory and ensure timely release based on QA holds, shelf life, and customer requirements. * Plan and execute inter-warehouse stock transfers to meet demand. * Track and reconcile finished goods inventory across 3PL sites using ERP/WMS systems . **Customer & Order Management:** * Audit and process customer purchase orders and shipment documentation (e.g., BOLs). * Communicate with key customers regarding shipment schedules, order revisions, and shortages. * Register new items and addresses in ERP/WMS systems and manage item setup in EDI platforms. **Export & Regulatory Compliance:** * Prepare documentation for export shipments including Annex H, A9, A1, Meat Certificates, and CFIA forms. * Coordinate with QA and CFIA for approvals and shipment releases. * Process shipment returns and execute mock recall procedures. **Reporting & Analysis:** * Create custom reports in Power BI and Excel (e.g., weekly/monthly sales, inventory performance, and customer-specific reports). * Maintain master product lists and data integrity in ERP systems. * Support leadership with data for budgeting, forecasting, and decision-making. Other duties may be assigned as necessary to support the needs of the company. **Qualifications:** * College diploma in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field. * 35 years of experience in logistics, production planning, or supply chain operations, preferably in food manufacturing. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and ERP/WMS systems. * Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills. * Excellent verbal and written communication. * Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, schedule-driven environment. * Experience with EDI systems, export documentation, and working with 3PL providers is an asset.
