Position Summary: Reporting directly to the Operations Manager, the Project Manager oversees the entire life cycle of a project, from estimating and bid preparation, through managing execution of the work to issuing certificates of substantial / total completion and billing. Through a quality team, the project manager will be accountable for overall project performance including timelines, profitability and health and safety. This is a full-time, year-round position offering an excellent compensation and benefits package. Key Responsibilities: * Estimate civil (sewer / water / earthworks) projects and manage them through until completion. * Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets and work plans. * Oversee and direct the work of subcontractors, vendors and other personnel. * Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget and to the desired quality. * Develop and maintain positive relationships with clients, engineers and other stakeholders. * Develop and implement safety plans and ensure all safety protocols are followed. * Monitor project progress and make necessary adjustments to the project plan. * Prepare progress reports and present them to upper management. * Maintain accurate project documentation and ensure it is organized and accessible. * Mentor and develop team members. * Communicate effectively with all stakeholders to resolve issues and ensure project success. Requirements: * 3+ years of civil / infrastructure construction project management, preferably in the areas of sewer, water, road building and earthworks. * Completion of a post-secondary education program in Civil Engineering preferred. * Proficient in both written and verbal English, with the ability to undertake moderately complex technical correspondence and conversations, as well as to provide clear direction to project team members. * Ability to review and interpret contracts, ensuring any additional work outside of project scope is identified and billed appropriately. * Adept at multi-tasking and prioritizing in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, working well under pressure and meeting deadlines. * Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills, as well as attention to detail. * Effective time management and organizational skills.
