Checking tolerances with measuring equipment for quality assurance. Completing and documenting required quality checks and inspections. Deburring and cleaning/ washing any parts during cycle. Cleaning and upkeep of machines and surrounding work area. Ensures continuity between shifts through clear and complete documentation of actions, irregularities and continuing needs. Any other tasks as assigned. **Requirements:** * Previous 2 years experience as a CNC Operator a definite asset * Ability to use measuring equipment * Ability to troubleshoot and problem solve effectively and efficiently * Excellent written and verbal communication skills * Experience with Fanuc controls, Matsuura mills an asset * Dexterity and attention to detail **Physical Demands:** Required to carry out routine, repetitive tasks such as reaching, pushing, pulling, standing, walking, lifting, packing, stacking, bending, climbing / descending / going under or on equipment as well as some physical lifting. Regularly exposed to noise, temperature change and lubricants and vibration.
