**Position**: Supervisor, Restaurant 85 **Job Type:** Permanent Full-Time **Location:** Hockley Valley Resort - Mono **Reports To:** Outlets Manager R85 **Job Brief** The Supervisor assists the Restaurant Manager in overseeing the daily operations of the restaurant and bar, including menu planning, maintaining sanitation standards, and supporting the servers, bartenders, and hosts during peak periods. This role requires strong leadership, the ability to handle multiple streams of information, excellent time management, and organizational skills. The ideal candidate remains calm under pressure and ensures high-quality service is consistently delivered. **Job Duties** **Guest Relations:** Welcome guests upon arrival, assist with seating arrangements, and address requests, questions, and complaints. **Event Coordination:** Collaborate with managers and organizers to plan event layouts and logistics, including managing the setup and execution. **Staff Management:** Schedule and manage staff shifts, timetables, and training, including customer service and serving etiquette. **Operational Leadership:** - Oversee floor operations, ensuring seamless food and beverage service by coordinating with kitchen and service staff. - Monitor inventory of supplies, equipment, and furniture, ensuring timely replenishment. **Safety and Cleanliness:** Ensure compliance with safety regulations, maintain a clean venue, and manage sanitation standards. **Hands-On Support:** - Assist with cleaning tables and preparing spaces for future diners. - Carry food and beverages from the kitchen or bar to the tables as needed. **Additional Responsibilities:** Perform other duties as assigned by the Restaurant Manager. **Requirements** * **Education and Experience:** * High school diploma or GED required. * Hospitality experience preferred. * Minimum 1 year of experience as a server or in a similar role. * **Skills and Competencies:** * Strong leadership abilities with a track record of managing diverse teams. * Excellent time management and multitasking skills. * Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities. * High level of customer service, particularly in high-pressure situations. * **Physical and Availability Requirements:** * Physically fit, with the stamina to lift furniture and stand for extended periods. * Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays. * Willingness to work long hours and irregular shifts as needed.
