Job Description

Job Title: Lead Carpenter Fencing Crew (Calgary) Location: Calgary Job Type: Contract Position Wage: $35$50 per hour, depending on experience About the Role: We are seeking a motivated and capable Carpenter to lead a small fencing crew in the Calgary area. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who can think on their feet, manage a small team, and take ownership of each job site. Fence building experience is not required but highly preferredwere also willing to train the right candidate who brings the right attitude and work ethic. Responsibilities: Read and interpret Real Property Reports (RPRs) Plan and lay out fence designs and post placements Lead and manage up to three crew members on site Pick up materials from suppliers (e.g. Home Depot) Conduct dump runs and maintain a clean, organized worksite Drive and maintain the company truck Communicate with homeowners as needed to confirm job details or preferences Ensure all work is done safely, efficiently, and to a high standard Maintain accurate daily timesheets and project records Requirements: Valid Class 5 drivers license Experience pulling a trailer If selected for the position, a current drivers abstract will be requiredwe will reimburse the cost Strong problem-solving and leadership skills Willingness to learn and adapt on the job Good communication and organizational abilities Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors in all weather Schedule: Monday to Friday, starting between 6:007:00 a.m. Daily hours fluctuate depending on weather conditions and project progress Weekends and holidays are optional Important Notes: This is a contract position The successful candidate is responsible for tracking and reporting their own income and taxes to the appropriate government agencies Wage: $35$50 per hour, depending on experience To Apply: Please send your resume and a brief summary of your experience to
