We are seeking a full-time site carpenter capable of tackling small framing projects, performing service work, and facilitating workflow by running materials, and providing on-site assistance to other team members when required. Those who are qualified to move on to the next step in the application process will be contacted. **PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES** - Deliver materials to site and assist other team members as required. - Execute service work and repairs as scheduled. - Perform carpentry work in the various phases of new home construction. - Assist on various elements of renovation projects. **ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES** - Interpret blueprints, drawings, and specs. - Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, and other materials. - Ability to install structures and fixtures, such as windows, doors, appliances etc. - Maintain a clean working environment ensuring that at the end of day the site is clean and all garbage is properly disposed of. - Inspect work progress and ensure compliance with standards and regulations. - Maintain tools, equipment, and ensure company vehicle is in good repair. **REQUIREMENTS** - Proven experience as a Carpenter. - Proficient with tools and equipment. - Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings. - Strong understanding of safety and building codes. - Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks. **QUALIFICATIONS** - High school diploma or equivalent; vocational school or apprenticeship preferred. - Valid driver''s license with a clean driving record. - Physical stamina and manual dexterity. - Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. **COMPENSATION** - Competitive wage commensurate with experience and varying skillsets. - Company vehicle provided for work-related tasks. - Paid time off. - Group benefits. **APPLICATION PROCESS** If you meet the qualifications and are seeking to join a dynamic team committed to excellence, please submit your resume and cover letter detailing your carpentry experience and why you would be a great fit for this position. ========== ABOUT US: We are a reputable construction company with over 25 years in business, primarily focused on providing back up framing services to the new home construction industry in Calgary and surrounding areas.
