Overview: We are seeking skilled Colour Matchers to join our team. The essential duties of his job are listed below: Duties: * Transporting ink and other materials to and from the Ink Room * Reading specs from dockets to identify ink colours required and prioritize jobs * Formulating colours using ink dispenser * Assist Colour Matcher in pre-press colour matching for upcoming work orders * Maintain job filing system and job costing (paperwork) * Use GT and other computerized systems such as Novaflow, X-Rite * Maintains cleanliness of equipment and area * Adheres to all Health & Safety and Environmental Regulations Requirements: * Ability to multi-task * Ability to read, write and understand English information and instructions * Clear verbal communication * Can lift up to 50lbs unaided * Able to work with minimal supervision * Good organizational and prioritization skills * Basic computer skills Education/Experience: * Prior knowledge of the print industry * Press experience is an asset * High School diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience * Completion of printing program/diploma an asset * Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel an asset * Noisy environment Shift * 3 Shift rotation Note: Only qualified candidates will be contacted for an interview.
