As a Cook, you will play a vital role in creating delicious dishes while adhering to food safety standards and ensuring an efficient kitchen operation. **Responsibilities** * Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards. * Assist in the planning of menus, taking into account seasonal availability of ingredients. * Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards. * Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including proper food handling and storage practices. * Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation and service. * Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and assist with ordering as needed. * Participate in training new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques and safety protocols. * Adapt to changing menus or special dietary requests as required. **Qualifications** * Proven experience as a Cook in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred. * Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations. * Familiarity with various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures. * Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen setting. * Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in meal preparation. * Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team. * A passion for the culinary arts and commitment to delivering high-quality dishes.
