We have partnered with a well established, global investment management firm to recruit them a Managing Director, Corporate Security. This individual will be responsible for leading a team responsible for the physical security of the firm''s premises around the world. This role will require the Managing Director to work from our client''s office 4 days/week. Specific responsibilities include the following: (A more detailed position description will be provided to short-listed candidates) Implement global premises security, operations, and activities to ensure protection of colleagues, stakeholders, visitors, as well as all physical assets. Maintain deep knowledge of and oversee the implementation of physical security technologies, including CCTV, access control, and intrusion detection systems. Manage the global enterprise resilience program with direct responsibility for 12 sites throughout the Americas, UK and Europe, and Asia Pacific regions. Partner with Technology to develop, implement, and oversee Disaster Recovery to ensure the continuity and recovery of critical technology infrastructure and systems, including on-premises and cloud environments. Lead relevant stakeholders through the development and implementation of well-defined governance structures throughout the crisis management lifecycle which includes creation of global playbooks, crisis training, and establishing postmortem and recovery processes. Oversee global corporate insurance programs, including Integrated Risk coverage. Partner with Information and Security teams to ensure seamless coordination of incident response, threat analysis, investigations, and intelligence sharing across the functions. PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS 15+ year of relevant physical security, intelligence or law enforcement experience with responsibilities related to strategic and operational planning. Previous experience in a similar capacity with another global organization that requires physical security (e.g. financial services, real estate, manufacturing, hospitality, etc.). A background/experience with executive protection is strongly preferred. Direct experience working with or within intelligence agencies, or collaborating on intelligence-driven initiatives In-depth knowledge of security technology (e.g. CCTV, Access Control, Intrusion) and other security-related systems. Strong written and verbal communication skills. The ability to build strong team commitment, work collaboratively and build consensus to maximize team performance. Executive presence; ability to present at the senior executive and Board level. Canadian Government Security Clearance strongly preferred.
