Key accountabilities: Coordinate all the Safety Assurance activities on the project / system / product as per Safety process defined in Signalling Safety Instruction Perform Safety analysis, manage Hazard Log, review RAM, Cyber, V&V, T&C activities from a Safety perspective Define safety plan and manage safety workload and associated planning Support tenders and/or RC teams to integrate product/system in projects Build the Safety Reports and/or the Safety Cases Apply the safety assurance methodologies (risk acceptance criteria, safety analysis, verification and validation) defined for the project / system / product Organize and attend periodic Safety Reviews Defend Safety Case argumentations in front of internal (QS, Safety Assessor) and external (ISA) assessors; define and follow-up action plans to close the findings of the assessors Manage (if any) the Safety Assurance Engineers involved on the project / system / product (Internal or external resources) If identified as Safety Leader for a Safety Issue, manage 8D steps as per process Key Job Authorities and Dimensions Safety reference on the related Projects/Program for the Core team, Customer (internal or external) and assessors/SA (internal and external) Safety budget responsible Required Profile Bachelor''s degree in Electrical Engineering,Electronics,or Systems Engineering degree 5 years successful experience in safety assurance, including 2 years in Railway business Excellent knowledge ofCenelec Standards for Safety (or equivalent standards if needed: AREMA, IEEE, etc ) and safety methodology & concepts/principles English operational in reading and writing for technical documentation You dont need to be a train enthusiast to thrive with us.
