Job Description What is the opportunity? Reporting to the Managing Director, Market, Counterparty Credit, Liquidity and Model Risk Policy, you will provide senior-level advice and support for governance and risk oversight. Your responsibilities include developing, maintaining, and communicating risk policy documents related to market, counterparty credit, liquidity, and models across RBC group. You will lead the development of policies supporting risk management, especially in capital markets activities, and ensure effective communication and training related to these policies. Lead the development, maintenance, and management of risk policy documents, ensuring alignment with RBC''s governance and risk appetite. Present policies for approval and to relevant committees. Identify and interpret regulatory guidelines and develop policies to mitigate associated risks. Build strong relationships with stakeholders and develop understandable, effective policies. Provide advice to senior management and relevant committees. Stay informed on business, market, and regulatory changes, and update policies accordingly. Manage publication and maintenance of policies on relevant platforms. Develop and deliver training on policy requirements and governance. Monitor policy implementation and effectiveness. Assist in designing and maintaining the policy review and approval process. Ensure proper delegation of authorities in line with policies. What do you need to succeed?
