Nature & Scope: Reporting to the District Manager, the Store Manager is responsible for creating and maintaining an exceptional Roots Experience for customers and employees. Key responsibilities include leadership development, succession planning, and coaching. The Store Manager models and aligns with Roots'' guiding principles and beliefs. Key Job Responsibilities: Achieve store sales targets by executing company standards, policies, and procedures, while providing superior customer service. Provide ongoing coaching and development to staff based on individual strengths and areas for improvement to meet sales goals. Develop action plans to enhance individual performance and productivity. Build and maintain customer loyalty through excellent shopping experiences and timely resolution of issues. Lead by example in sales and customer service excellence. Proactively recruit qualified candidates to meet staffing needs. Qualifications and Experience Required: Minimum of 3 years related experience in retail apparel. Strong leadership skills demonstrated through KPI results, retention, and coaching. Experience in visual planning and merchandising. Proven sales achievements in high-volume stores. Ability to manage resources effectively to meet service standards. Capability to handle multiple situations calmly and efficiently. Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills. Strong organizational, planning, and problem-solving abilities. Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively. Strong team-building skills with experience in coaching and mentoring.
