Effective October 1, 2025, the Division of Hematology Oncology is seeking a full-time permanent faculty position for a staff pediatric hematologist/oncologist in the Leukemia/Lymphoma Section at the Hospital for Sick Children (SickKids), 555 University Ave., Toronto, ON, an academic health science centre affiliated with the University of Toronto. SickKids is the largest quaternary care pediatric hospital in Canada and a teaching hospital for the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Toronto. The Division of Hematology/Oncology is one of the largest programs of its kind in North America, supported by the Garron Family Cancer Centre and the SickKids Research Institute. The Leukemia/Lymphoma Section specializes in advanced multidisciplinary care for children and adolescents with leukemias, lymphomas, and histiocytic disorders. It engages in clinical trials, supportive care, health services research, translational science, and global health research. The section is a national referral centre for early-phase trials of targeted and immunotherapies and holds leadership roles in Childrens Oncology Group (COG) committees. Members have expertise in ALL, AML, Hodgkin and non-Hodgkin lymphomas, and histiocytic disorders. The successful candidate will join a dynamic interprofessional team, providing inpatient and outpatient care, including procedures and out-of-hour coverage. The role emphasizes clinical service, research, and teaching, with evidence of excellence required. Candidates at all career stages are encouraged to apply.
